October Featured Artist: Valentina Shvyrkova
For Valentina, painting is not just a career, it is a life passion. Born in Moscow, Russia, she has painted since early childhood. She worked as an interior decorator in retail stores and, in 2007, was juried into the Carmel International Arts Festival. Her inspiration come from scenes of real life – nature, landscapes and the memories of people and places she has visited. She strives to give her paintings a romantic touch through impressionistic strokes of color.
Works like “Morning in Venice” will be featured in our main gallery area during the month of October. Be sure to visit the gallery to view the wonderful selection!
